Matthew Keys - Osteopath Intern

Matthew has completed a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy), and is currently completing his final semester of his Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University. Matthew’s interest in Osteopathy is driven by a deep appreciation for the mechanics of the human body and how a practitioner can positively influence an individual's experience with pain.

Matthew adopts a collaborative approach with his patients, through developing treatment and management plans specific to each patient’s individual goals. Matthew has a particular interest in headaches and neck pain, chronic pain and injuries to the knee and shoulder. He employs exercise rehabilitation and manual therapy techniques, including soft tissue treatment, stretching, joint articulation and manipulation techniques.

His clinical experience includes working at the Victoria University student clinic, as well as placements at Dromana Hands on Health, Windana Drug & Alcohol Recovery and Sacred Heart Mission.

Outside of the clinic, Matthew enjoys keeping active at the gym, running and swimming. Matthew also enjoys working on his artisan craft through creating sculptures by metal fabrication and welding.

Matthew will be working along side and under the supervision of Harley.

We have Matthew as our intern until early June and will be available on Monday afternoons. Both initial and return appointments with Matthew are $40.

Please note: as Matthew is still finishing his studies, patients are unable to access any form of Private Health, Medicare or 3rd party claiming for these appointments.

If you'd like to make an appointment you can do so online or by calling the clinic on (03) 5982 2600.
